Accommodation is provided for rods at Abercothi Farm. This delightful 18th Century farmhouse could not be better situated. It is on the banks of the River with good access to all the beats. The whole courtyard and house have recently been renovated to the highest standards throughout.

Some space still free at Abercothi in August onwards. Golden Grove now available to let too and some space in July. Some wonderful fishing on rotating beats. Already some 70 fish averaging over 4lbs caught there inc. one of 15lbs 6oz at end of June. Call 01494 524411 to book

2008 Season - 30 June. 100 fish to date. About 12 sewin caught over the weekend, up to 6lbs. One caught during the day and others at night. The Cothi fishing very well indeed with good numbers of fish in most main pools and the main Towy just becoming clear enough to fish properly now at night. Lots of shoal fish now in aswell as some larger ones. Fresh fish coming in daily. Also a monster sewin of 15lbs 6oz landed on Golden Grove on Monday 30 June. Abercothi 2007 Season - see Website for detailed catches. 367 sewin in total including 41 over 5lbs. Largest 16lbs. Over 50% returned. Also 64 salmon.
